Funeral Is Held at Pierson- la.

Pierson, Ia.- Special: Funeral services for Edward Franklin Bare, 89, who died after a short illness, were held at the First Methodist church here.

Rev. H. E. Hutchinson and Rev. A. Beuerman officiated, and burial was in the Rock Branch cemetery.

Mr. Bare was born December 5, 1856, in Lancaster County, Pa. and had been a resident here for 63 years.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles; Pasadena, Cal, Arthur, Pierson, and Edward, jr., Cherokee, and three grandchildren.
