Mrs. Cora E. Baker, 69, died Sunday morning in her home near Anthon after a sickness of several years. Born near Delphos, O., April 27, 1867, Mrs. Baker came a year later to Woodbury County, in and near which she had lived since.

Surviving are her widower, Lorenzo Baker; two sons, Lawrence of Kingsley and Kenneth of Pierson; a daughter, Mrs. John McFarland of Milbank; seven brothers, A. B. Thatcher of Newhall, Cal, Sherman Thatcher of Los Angeles, O. M. Thatcher of Danbury, Wis., U. C. Thatcher and George Thatcher, both of Sioux City, S.H, Thatcher of San Francisco and C. H. Thatcher of Huron, S. D. and a sister, Mrs. Leona Schmitz of Sioux City. Mrs. Baker had 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon in Rock Branch Methodist church, east of Moville. Burial will be in Rock Branch cemetery.
