MOVILLE, Iowa - Harold V. Baker, 91, of Moville, died Thursday, April 16, 1998, at Kingsley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsley.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold E. Werley officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery in Rock Branch, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. McCulloch Funeral Home in Moville in in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Baker was born Jan. 6, 1907, in Arlington Township, rural Moville, the son of John and Martha (Short) Baker. He married Ethel Margaret Short June 10, 1929, in Malvern, Iowa. A lifelong area resident and farmer, he lived on the same farm for 70 years, and moved into Moville in 1977. He was a member of Moville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd; and a sister, Zelma Byerley.
