LAWTON, Iowa -- Mrs. John Williams, 52, of Lawton, died Saturday in a Sioux City hospital after an illness of several months.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary Catholic Church at Oto. The Rev. John Vakulskas will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the Walter Funeral Home at Anthon.

Mrs. Williams, the former Dorothy Bernice McDonald, was born June 28, 1928 at Oto. She lived in Oto and Sioux City before her marriage July 1, 1950, at Clovis, N.M. They lived in Sioux City, Bronson and Anthon before moving to Lawton two years ago. She had worked as a waitress at the Paddock Restaurant at South Sioux City for several years.

Survivors include the widower; two daughters, Miss Ginger and Miss Debbie, both of Des Moines; two sons, Gene in the U.S. Army in Hawaii and John D. of Lawton; her mother, Mrs. Elsie McDonald of Oto; and six sisters, Mrs. John (Marjorie) Mitchell of Independence, Mo., Mrs. Paul (Alice) Miller of Oto, Mrs. James (Laura) Thurston of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. James (Delores) Shay of Sioux City, Mrs. James (Barbara) Greenhoph of Waterloo, and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Schwarz of Kingsley; and three brothers, Leonard, Vincent, and Leo, all of Oto.
