Private Clifford J. Steele, 20, of Hornick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Steele of Hornick died Saturday at a Denver hospital following an illness of four months.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Hornick Methodist church with Rev. W. Lane officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery under the direction of Becker's funeral home of Hornick.

Private Steele enlisted in the army air corps February 14, 1941 and was a graduate of the radio technicians' school at Scott field, Illinois.

Surviving in addition to the parents, are four sisters, Lucille, Mary Jane, Gloria and Jeannette, all of Hornick.
