Mrs. Clifford C. King

HORNICK, Iowa - Mrs. Clifford C. King, 72, of Hornick, died June 27 at a Sioux City hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. June 29 in the Hornick United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dale Church officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Township Cemetery with the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home, Morningside, in charge.

Mrs. King, the former Ruth A. Anderson, was born March 25, 1902, in Union County, S.D. She was married Jan. 27, 1902, in Union County, S.D. She was married Jan. 27, 1926, in Sioux City. Mr. and Mrs. King moved to Hornick and farmed. She was a member of the Big Springs Baptist Church, Big Springs, S.D.

Survivors include the widower; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Carter of Hornick; two sisters, Mrs. Pete (Olga) Flowers of Sioux City, and Mrs. Edna Smith of Sacramento, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
