IOWA RESIDENT 63 YEARS DIES

Mrs. Jesse Kingsnorth Succumbs at Home of Daughter

Following a sickness of two years, Mrs. Jesse Kingsnorth, 87 years old, died Thursday in the home of her daughter. Mrs. E. L. Wellington, at Hornick. la. She had been a resident of Woodbury and Monona counties 63 years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Methodist church at Hornick. Rev. M. L. Metcalf, of Sioux City, will officiate and burial will be in the Lee cemetery near Hornick.

Mrs. Kingsnorth was born April 9, 1844, in Canton, O. She moved with her family from Ohio to Woodbury County 3 years ago and had lived in northwestern Iowa ever since.

Mrs. Kingsnorth is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Wellington and Mrs. Paul Warner, both of Hornick; Mrs. Charles Boyd, of Sioux City; Mrs. Frank Thompson, of Wagner, S. D., and three sons, Jesse Kingsnorth, of Hornick; George Kingsnorth, of Emmett, N. D., and Herman Kingsnorth, of San Diego, Cal. George Kingsnorth of Sioux City, is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Kingsnorth.
