Funeral services for Mrs. George Kelsey, 90, of Smithland will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Smithland Methodist Church. The Rev. Leonard Fugate will officiate and burial will be in the Willow Township Cemetery at Holly Springs under the direction of the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney, Iowa.

Mrs. Kelsey, the former Edna Smith, died Tuesday in a Sioux City hospital after a short illness. She was born Oct. 11, 1877, in EI Paso County, Colo., and had lived in the Smithland community most of her life. She was married to Mr. Kelsey in 1898. He died in 1961.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Cory and Mrs. Saul Mitchell, both of Smithland; five sons, Harry of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; Bruce of Park Rapids, Minn.; Charles of Brainerd, Minn., and Gene and Deane, both of Smithland; a sister, Mrs. Minty Wilson of Grants Pass, Ore.; 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
