Ruth H. Haafke, 63, of Bronson la., died Monday morning in a hospital following an illness of about three months.

She was born in Bronson January 24, 1882, and had resided in Bronson most of her life.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Haafke, early day pioneer residents of Bronson. She was a member of the Morningside Presbyterian church and the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are a sister. Mrs. Agnes Pond of Perry, la, three brothers, H. A. Haafke, H. F, and John all of Bronson, and several nieces and nephews.
