Mrs. Mary Messner, 75, 822 Dubuque street, died at a hospital here Monday afternoon after a five-week illness.

Born February 25, 1870, at Preston, Minn., she came to Sioux City in 1921.

Surviving are the widower, George; a daughter, Mrs. Edith St.Onge of Sioux City; a brother, John Egans of Spring Valley, Minn., and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic church. Rev. Edward C. Lilly will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at 9 o'clock tonight at Larkin's funeral Home.
