11 May 1956Former City Man Killed
Funeral services for Gerald Heck, 37, Casper, Wyo., a former Sioux Cityan who was killed in a one-car accident near Lander, Wyo. Wednesday night, will be held at 3:30 p. m. Monday at the W. Harry Christy funeral 711 Myrtle Street, here.
Rev. Henry 'Warkentin of Westminster Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery.
Details of the accident were not available here but it is known that Heck's employer was riding in the automobile with him and that he was only slightly injured.
Mr. Heck was the father of six children. He and his wife, Marjorie, and their family left Sioux City five or six years ago.
The mother, Mrs. Freda Heck lives at 1413 Myrtle Street.
Other survivors are his father, William D. of Casper; his grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Hall of Sioux City, and three brothers.
