Longtime Resident of County Expires; Funeral Wednesday

Mrs. Laura Leota Heck, 85, died Monday, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Gallagher, near Holly Springs, after a long illness.

Mrs. Heck was born May 23, 1866, at Woodsfield, O. She moved to Hornick in 1890. She had resided near Holly Springs for the last 16 years.

Mrs. Heck was a member of the Holly Springs Christian church.

Survivors in addition to the daughter include another daughter, Mrs. Mary Bankirk of Randolph, Neb.; four sons, Ross of Homer, Neb., Kenneth of Kingsley, la, and William and Raymond, both of Sioux City, and 23 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Christian church. Burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery under direction of the Hilts funeral home of Sloan.
