LAKE PARK, la. -Special:

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank P. Burns, 79, former resident of Hornick, la., for 54 years who died Thursday at the home of a daughter here, Mrs. C. E. Arnold, will be held at 9 a. m. Sunday in the Methodist church here and at 2:30 p. m. at the Methodist church, at Hornick.

Rev. Mr. Grote will officiate here, and Rev. Lyle Lieder and Rev. Forrest G. Clark will officiate at the Hornick church, of which she was a member.

Mrs. Burns was born February 5, 1875, at Cascade, la. She was graduated from Fonda, la., high school and Highland Park college in Des Moines. She taught school for several years until her marriage in 1838. The couple resided on a farm near Hornick until Mr. Burns death in 1952.

Survivors are two sons, C. J. of Hornick and C. L. of Lake Park; two daughters, Mrs. Arnold and Mrs. Oscar Foss of Des Moines and a sister, Mrs. Ada Bond of Chicago.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Haddock, Keith Haddock, Ralph Burns, Edward Arvesen, Arthur Netley and Reuben Turner.

Burial will be in Willow township cemetery at Holly Springs with the Knowles funeral home of Lake Park in charge
