Scott Charles Gustafson, 28, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Dec: 17, 1996, at a Sioux City hospital of cancer.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa. The Rev. Lawrence McCarty, pastor of St. Michaels Catholic Church of Sioux City, will officiate. Burial will be in Storm Lake Cemetery. Sliefert Funeral Home of Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Gustafson was born March 27, 1968, in Storm Lake, the son of Charles and Beverly Gustafson. He attended schools in Albert City and Alta Iowa and Morningside College. He married Monica Ryherd on July 29, 1996, in Schaller, Iowa. He was employed as a manager with Rent-A-Center.

He was a member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lundsay and Mackenzie Gustafson of Sioux City; his parents of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother and his wife, Mike and Kathy of Readlyn, Iowa; and two sisters, Debbie and her husband Roman Kruse of Storm Lake and Jamie Gustafson of Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Chuck, Pat and Tom Ryherd, Darin Click, Darin Sliefert, and Russ Dierenfeld.
