Lenice "Lenny" Jernberg Gilbertson, 68, of Glyndon, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 1996, at her daughter's home following a lengthy illness.

A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at the Christy, Smith and Hockenberry Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elwood N. Rieke, pastor of First Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, Minn. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Glyndon. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Korsmo Funeral Home in Moorhead.

Mrs. Gilbertson was born Nov. 30, 1928, in Jefferson, S.D.

She graduated from Central High School in 1947.

She married Glen Jernberg on Jan. 17, 1948. She married Duane Gilbertson on Feb. 4, 1977, in Sioux City.

She moved to Minnesota in 1972.

Mrs. Gilbertson was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead.

Survivors include her husband; two sons and their wives, Tris and Barb Jernberg and Gary and Debra Jernberg, all of Sioux City; three daughters and their husbands, Karla and Verlan Hansen of Sioux City, Deb and Don O'Connor of Dakota Dunes and Cindy and Ron Massonne of Winthrop, Minn.; two step-sons, Jeff Gilbertson and his wife, Dawn, of Moorhead and Tim Gilbertson of Hawley, Minn.; two step-daughters, Joddie Gilbertson of Hillsboro, N.D., and Tricia and her husband, David Gibbons, of Fargo, N.D.; 23 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lois and her husband, James Bookhart, and Leatrice Ruhrer, all of Sioux City.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Siouxland.
