Lucinda Cole

Lucinda "Cindy" Cole, 43, of South Sioux City died Saturday, Dec. 14, 1996, in South Sioux City.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Morningside Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Donald Hawkins of Eden Prairie, Minn., and the Rev. Thomas Jacobs of Morningside Assembly of God officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Christy, Smith and Hockenberry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cole was born Aug. 21, 1953, in Sioux City, the daughter of Richard and Charlene (Dahlman) Parker.

She graduated from East High School in 1972, and obtained an associates degree in Bible Ministry from the Kings Way College in Sioux City.

She married Timothy Cole on Nov. 17, 1978, in Sioux City.

She was employed as an optician for 12 years and worked for ShopKo for the last seven years.

She was a member of the Morningside Assembly of God Church and a volunteer youth for Youth for Christ for several years.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jamie Gomez, Nick and Levi Cole; a daughter, Jeannine Cole; her parents and a sister and her, husband, Kathryn and Jim Massey, all of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
