30 May 1945James E. Beacom, 70, formerly of Sioux City, died Monday in the home of his daughter at Humphrey, Neb., according to word received by his sister, Mrs. H. S. Covell, 10 12th street. The body will be taken to Omaha. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Beacom was born April 30, 1875, at Hubbard, Neb.
Survivors besides his daughter at Humphrey are two daughters at Omaha; two sons, Maj. James Beacom and Cpl. Joseph Beacom, both somewhere in the south Pacific; one brother, John of Salix, and two sisters, Mrs. Covell and Alice Beacom, both living here.
