Anthony "Tony" R. Audino, 70 of Sioux City died Thursday at his residence.
Services will be 11:30 Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas E. Geelan officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., and a scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Mr. Audino was born Jan. 1, 1926, in Calabria, Italy to Dominic and Mary (Prochello). He was a graduate of St. Joseph Seminary in Westmont, Ill. He married Mary Kay O'Connor in Sioux City. He Came to Sioux City in 1932 and has lived here since. He worked for General Tobacco, I. Miller & Co., The Paper Co., and Midwestern Paper. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael of Des Moines, Iowa, and Matthew of Sioux City, two daughters and their husbands, Suzanne and Michael Richardson of Correctionville, Iowa, and Kathleen and David Carelli of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one brother, Frank of Sioux City; one sister, Mary Treinen of Crofton, Neb.; four grandchildren, Anthony Carelli, Johnathon, Jessee, and Lucas Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Patrick John; one sister, Gloria; and one brother, Joseph.
Pallbearers include Joseph Audino Jr., Steve Treinen, William Fergen, Ronald Walters, Dominic and Michael Audino.
