DAKOTA DUNES (Died Sioux City) - Dolores Hageman, 82, of Dakota Dunes passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dakota Dunes. A funeral lunch will be provided following the service at the church. Graveside services will be 1 p.m Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Dolores was born July 13, 1926, in Sioux City, to Oscar and Fern (Manz) Wycoff. She graduated from Liberty Consolidated School in Merrill, Iowa. After graduation, she attended nursing school.

She was married to Everett Hageman on Jan. 9, 1946, in Sioux City. To this union five children were born. Everett preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1999. After Everett's passing, she resided with her daughter, Terri, in Dakota Dunes.

She loved being with family. She especially loved spending time and being involved with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to garden, watch birds, quilt, clean her home, do dishes and will be fondly remembered for her cooking.

She is survive by two daughters, Terri Hageman of Dakota Dunes and Kay (Tom) Remar of Athens, Ga. ; three sons, Bruce (Rhonda) Hageman of Hinton, Iowa, Barry (Kay) Hageman of Sioux City and Randy (Suzanne) Hageman of Bowling Green, Va.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers, Marvin (Mildred) Wycoff of Moville, Iowa, Ray (Marilyn) Wycoff of Manchester, Iowa, and Maurice (Darlene) Wycoff of Overland Park, Kan.; and a step-sister, Linda (Mark) Brice of Rogers, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her step-parents, Charles Eves and Arlene Wycoff.
