SIOUX CITY - Dylan C. Peterson, 24, of Sioux City died Saturday, July 11, 2009, from injuries suffered in an accident.

Services will be ll a.m. Wednesday at Community of Christ Church, 3232 Transit Ave. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Dylan was born Dec. 23, 1984, in Sioux City, the son of Wade Tolle and Elizabeth Peterson. He attended East High School. He worked for a time at Verschoor Meats and later as a carpenter in the area. He was currently working at T&A Truck Wash.

He was baptized and was a Christian. He was proficient in martial arts and had earned his black belt. He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Peterson; his father, Wade Tolle; his fiancee, Clarissa Nelson; two brothers, Myles Bailey and Wyatt Stamoulis; his sisters, Lana Peterson and Brandy; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Peterson; maternal grandfather, Richard Peterson and his wife, Sheila; paternal grandmother, Judith K. Tolle; his aunt, Cyndi Peterson; cousins, Amanda Peterson, Alex Peterson and Austin Peterson; and an aunt, Dana Tolle.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lynn W. Tolle; and an infant sister who died at birth, Candance K. Bailey.
