Eileen (Baker) Cutler

SERGEANT BLUFF -Eileen LaVonne (Baker) Cutler, 82, formerly of Sergeant Bluff, passed away April 16, 2009.

Private memorial services were held in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Eileen was born May 2, 1926, in Whiting, Iowa, to Jess and Sophie (Beth) Baker. She married Leo James Cutler on Feb. 25, 1947, in Montgomery, Ala. In 1988, Eileen retired from Kent Feed in Sioux City after a lengthy career and relocated to Spirit Lake until 2002. At that time she moved to Florissant, Mo., to be close to her family.

Eileen loved to garden as well as sew, knit and collect recipes. She will be dearly missed by all.

She was the loving mother of Suzette Eileen DeLaCruz, Judith Shaeffer and Rebecca Landry and the best grandmother of seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by two sisters, Betty (Baker) Crossley and Donna (Baker) Collins; and two brothers, Harold Baker and Robert Baker.
