SIOUX CITY -- LuAnn Thompson Barrow, 53, of Buck, Ala., formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Buck.

Services were held March 31 at Saraland, Ala. The body was cremated.

Born Dec. 20, 1955, in Sioux City, LuAnn Barrow was the daughter of Everett and Vera (Knudsen) Thompson of Sioux City. She attended Sioux City schools and was employed by various businesses in the Sioux City area, mainly in the computer field.

On Oct. 15, 1991, she married David Barrow in Elk Point, S.D.

Survivors include her husband, David of Buck, Ala., as well as several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
