SIOUX CITY -- Beverly Ann Kelly, 76, of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009, after a hard-fought battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 96th & Q. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Omaha. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, with a 7 p.m. vigil service, at West Center Chapel, West Center Road in Omaha.

Beverly was born Jan. 29, 1933, in Jackson, Neb., to Darrell and Mildred (Mongar) Hansel. In 1950, she graduated from Central High School in Sioux City. During high school, she worked at Thompson's Drug Store & Phillip's Cafeteria. After she graduated, she worked at Western Adjustment Company until 1956. She then dedicated the remainder of her life to raising her family, delighting in her grandchildren and great grandchildren and being an armchair quarterback for the Cornhuskers.

She was a loving wife who was totally devoted to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Keith; her children, Kelene Langenfeld and husband, John, Mike Kelly and wife, Kyle, Stacie Robertson and husband, Mark, and Sean Kelly and wife, Kathy; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mollie Wetzbarger and Kim Byrne; and four brothers, Jerry Hansel, Tom Hansel, Robert Hansel and Vincent Hansel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Trisha Hansel, Phyllis Hansel and Janiene Paulson; and a brother, Jack Hansel.

Memorials will be directed by the family.
