26 March 2009SOUTH SIOUX CITY (Buried Sioux City)-- Fritzi J. Irby, 70, of South Sioux City passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.
Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. today at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Fritzi was born Jan. 12, 1939, in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Phyllis (Mueller) Laden.
She married James Irby in 1974, in Sioux City. He died in December 1981, in Sioux City. She was a longtime resident of South Sioux City. She was employed with Old Home Bakery for several years.
She loved to cook.
Survivors include a son, John Baker of Arizona; two daughters, Jeannette Hawkins of Omaha and Julie Bryda of Nebraska; brothers, Frank and Phil Laden; three grandchildren, Carolyn Rowney, Laura and Eric Bryda; and nieces and nephews.
