SIOUX CITY -- Carla Marie Wilson, 56, of Sioux City passed away peacefully Sunday, March 22, 2009, at her home surrounded by love and her family.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Little Sioux Township Cemetery, rural Smithland, Iowa, with the Rev. Roger Madden officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Carla, also known as "Crazy Carla", was born July 11, 1952, in Vallejo, Calif., to Carlton and Lavon (Austin) Wilson. She was raised in the Bay Area of California. She moved to Iowa in the early 1990, and had called Sioux City home.

She is survived by her mother and father, Belle and Carl; children, Richard, Donna and Robert; and grandchildren, Marla, Madison, Eric, Andrew, Michael and Taryne.
