20 March 2009SIOUX CITY -- Dorothy (Sterling) Betsworth Von Striver, 103, formerly of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in Hobe Sound, Fla.
Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City.
Dorothy was born in Sioux City on Oct. 20, 1905, to Howard H. and Mae Sterling. Her life was filled with community and church projects in Sioux City and later in California.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Grace Betsworth Nagy; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Betsworth; a son, George Richard Betsworth; and her second husband, James Von Striver.
She leaves many dear friends and family.
