SIOUX CITY -- Edward C. "Ed from Kobold Auto Repair" Basher, 59, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.

A celebration of life will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bob's Watering Hole for friends to gather and remember his life. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.

Ed was born June 9, 1949, in New York. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a fixture at Kobold Auto Repair for the past seven years.

He leaves many friends, who will miss his company and conversation.
