SIOUX CITY -- JaeLynn Marie Moss, 19, of Sioux City was called home too soon on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Climbing Hill, Iowa, with the Rev. Scott Jensen officiating. Burial will be in Westfork Township Cemetery at Climbing Hill. Visitation will be Monday evening at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of McCulloch Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home, in Moville, Iowa. JaeLynn was born Dec. 17, 1989, in Sioux City, the daughter of Jeff and Roxanne (DeJong) Moss. She was raised in the Sioux City and Climbing Hill area. Attending schools in Moville, Iowa, she graduated from Woodbury Central High School in 2008. She was working at Four Seasons Health Club and was a waitress at Buffalo Wild Wings.

She was baptized and was a member of First Baptist Church in Climbing Hill.

She is survived by her father, Jeff and Rhonda Moss; her mother, Roxanne and John Schleis; two brothers, Jon Moss and Chad Schweitzberger; two sisters, Nicole Schweitzberger and Alyssa Moss; aunts and uncles, Becky and Larry Van Rooyen, Jeannie and Ron Krueger, Jeannie Plantenberg, Sam and Steve Thomas, Jane Jamison, Jim and Jimmie Moss, Jerry Moss, Jack and Peg Moss, Sandy and Rick Wyatt, Jerry Moss, Terry and Susan DeJong; grandmother, Edna Moss; grandmother, Ruthie Schleis; and grandparents, Ron and Lena Whitesell.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Betty Slocum; maternal grandfather, Gerard DeJong; paternal grandfather, Jim Moss; and uncle, Danny Plantenberg.
