10 February 2009SIOUX CITY -- Georgia A. Foss, 84, of Sioux City died Jan. 28, 2009, at her residence.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Covenant Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Michael Zabel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Georgia was born Oct. 29, 1924, in Crofton, Neb., the daughter of Daniel and Pearl (Young) Foss. She worked as a secretary for New York Life Insurance for 45 years.
She was a member of First Covenant Church.
She is survived by a brother, Gerald Foss of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and a sister, Barbara (Roger) Dean of Chantilly, Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Donald Foss.
