30 January 2009SIOUX CITY -- Shirlee Mount, 66, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at her residence.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with Neal Peck officiating. Burial will be in Westfield City Cemetery, Westfield, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Shirlee was born July 4, 1942, in Akron, Iowa, the daughter of John and Louella (Amundson) Mount. She graduated from Alberta (N.M.) High School in 1959. She was employed with Security National Bank in Sioux City for the past 40 years, serving in various positions in bank operations.
In her free time, she loved to read, sew and work on genealogy.
Survivors include a brother, John Mount and his wife, Barb of Paxton, Ill.; a nephew, Mike Mount and his wife, Frances of Paxton; two nieces, Lisa and her husband, Richard Erickson of Milton, Wis., and Kim Hauersterger of Paxton; and several grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
