30 January 2009SIOUX CITY -- Alberta M. Loraditch, 68, of Sioux City passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at her residence.
An open house in her honor will be noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at her residence, 2104 W. Palmer Street. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff.
Alberta was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Roswell, N.M., the daughter of Albert and Ruth (Sparks) Blair. She attended school in the Phoenix, Ariz., area, then enrolled in a beauty school. She lived and worked in many parts of the country before moving to Sioux City in the early 1980s.
Her greatest joy was being with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Clarke and his wife, Diane of Missouri, and Roger Clarke of Sioux City; a daughter, Crystal and her husband, Louis Delpino of Haskell, N.J.; a sister, Elsie and her husband, Jim Airaghi of Florida; her best friend, Debbie Ruhland of Sergeant Bluff; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher and Daniel Clarke, Caroline Clarke, David and Melody Abshier, Dilly and Isabel Anderson, Louis, Danika and Ruth Delpino.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
