ADELINE BAKER.
NORTH SIOUX CITY – Adeline Baker, 99, of North Sioux City died Monday, August 16, 1999, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be at 10: 30 a.m. Thursday Riverside United Methodist church, with the Revs. Michael Shaffer and Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8:30 p.m. at Berkemier Funeral Home.

Mrs. Baker was born Feb. 1, 1900, in Auburn, Neb., the daughter of Dirk and Almina (Yelkin) Meyer.

She lived in Auburn until 1915, when she moved with her family to rural Britton, S.D. She moved to Sioux City in 1920.

She married John Molder in 1928, in Luverne, Minn. The couple made their home in Sioux City. He died in 1942.

She married Frank Baker in 1945 (correction: married in Feb 1944.) The couple made their home in North Sioux City, until moving to California in 1950. He died in 1959. She returned to North Sioux City in 1983.

She was employed as a housekeeper with various motels in California and Sioux City.

Survivors include two daughters, Margaret and her husband, Donald Green, and Marcella Mings, all of North Sioux City; two sons and their wives, John and Ella Molder of Granite Bay, Calif., and Pat and Linda Molder of Marysville, Calif.; two brothers, Bud Meyer of Redding, Calif., and Tom Meyer, of Britton, SD; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be Alan and Curtis Clay, Bill, Brad, Lon and Mick Green, and Gene Molder.
