Jean Bellmer, 78, of Sioux City died Tuesday November 9, 1999, in Sioux City following a sudden illness.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Rayann Burnham-Cummings of Mayflower Congregational Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Mrs. Bellmer was born June 4, 1921 in Omaha, the daughter of Finch and Fern (Deane) Kimberly. She attended Central High School in Sioux City.

She married Frank J. Bellmer on September 18, 1946 in Dakota City. He died November 13, 1990.

She was a past member of Mayflower Congregational Church and a member of Eagles.

Survivors include two sons, Brad of Sioux City and Brian and his wife Kelly of Yankton, South Dakota; a grandson, Cory Bellmer, a brother-in-law, warren Nelson of Sioux City and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Helen Nelson.
