26 November 1999Marion F. Valladolid, 84, of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, November 23, 1999 of a sudden illness at Live Care Center in Omaha.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Christy-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Christy-Smith Funeral Home in Sioux City.
Mrs. Valladolid was born June 10, 1915 at Sioux City, the daughter of William and Zella (Thompson) Miller. She attended Sioux City schools. She married Kimble A. Krause on September 14, 1933 at Sioux City. He died February 3, 1966. She married Andrew Valladolid on March 17, 1956. The couple later divorced but remained good friends.
She was a lifelong resident of Sioux City until 1984 when she moved to Omaha, where she had resided since then. She was a former member of First Christian Church in Sioux City and was a nursing assistant for several years. She enjoyed playing the piano and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include a son; Donald Krause of Tacoma, Washington; two daughters and their husbands: Donna and Delmar Goulette of Omaha and Joan and Bob Walsh of Lone Tree, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlene Kinnaman and a brother, Alfred “Bud” Miller.
