Mary Ann Schenck, 98, of Modesto, California, formerly of Sioux City, died Wednesday, November 10, 1999 at Modesto.

Services were at 9:30 a.m. Friday at McHenry Chapel-Franklin & Downs Funeral Home in Modesto. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, with Dr. Kenneth Peterson officiating. Christy-Smith Funeral Home – Morningside Chapel was in charge of arrangements in Sioux City. Visitation was at McHenry Chapel- Franklin & Downs Funeral Home in Modesto.

Mrs. Schenck was born November 11, 1900, at St. Petersburg, Florida. She lived in Sioux City from 1939 to 1971.

She was a former member of Whitfield Methodist Church in Sioux City.

Survivors include two daughters, Florence Kesterson of Glendale, Arizona and Margie Keeton of Modesto; two sons; Kenneth of Scottsdale, Arizona and Richard of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and a sister, Evelyn Erickson of Minnesota; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
