Gloria D. “Mickie” Norton, 63, of Sioux City died Sunday at her home after a long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Leo Kostizen, of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and the family present 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Norton was born September 28, 1936 in Sioux City, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Sarah (Grieve) McWilliams. She was a lifelong Sioux City resident.

She married Raymond L. Norton on August 31, 1954, in South Sioux city.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Teresa Cothren of Sioux City, Janie Preston of Sioux City, Linda Dicus and her husband, Robin of Sioux Falls and Connie Irwin and her husband, Troy of Sioux City, her mother, Sarah McWilliams of Sioux City; two brothers and their wives, Ron and Karen McWilliams of des Moines and Timothy and Debra McWilliams of Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Beverly and Carl Larsen of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Lyle McWilliams.

Pallbearers will be Adam Preston, Pat, Cory and Rob Dicus, Troy Irwin, Jeremy Cason and Richard VanOwen.
