Charlie "Pretty Boy" Nipp, 75, Lyons, NE died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at a Sioux City hospital.

A graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday,, April 14, 2008 at Hillcrest Cemetery at Decatur, NE with Dale Wolf, Evangelist officiating. Visitation was from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Rush Family Care Service at Onawa.

Charlie was born June 1, 1932 at Simon, Oklahoma, the son of Con and Jessie Pearl (Powell) Nipp. He was raised in Oklahoma and moved to the Decatur, NE area in 1966. He was employed with several pipeline companies.

He married Cindy McMullin August 30, 1981 at Decatur, NE. The couple were making their home at Lyons, NE.

Charlie loved to hunt and always awaited the opening of hunting season. He also enjoyed going to the casinos and spent a lot of time fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy; three daughters, Stephanie and her husband Jimmy Warren of Decatur, Lisa Peltier and her fiance1 Sonny Albers of Battle Creek, NE and Teresa Stillman of Battle Creek; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Justus, Rightous, Brenna, Nicholas, Besti, and Faith; six brothers, Clyde, John, Gene, Conover, Donnie and Curtis and five sisters, Dobie, Linda Sue, Carolyn, Laureen and Oleta.

He was, preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Claud and four sisters, Parlee, Meady Mae, Elnora and Dorlean
