22 May 2008Mary Ann Sullivan, 38, of Sioux City died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at the Mayo Hospital in Rochester, Minn. following a longtime battle with diabetes.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Mary was born Oct. 15, 1969, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of James and Joell (Keller) Sullivan. She graduated from ILC Central Campus in Sioux City in 1988.
In her free time, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren, play Bingo, going to the boat, playing cards, watching the WWE on television, fill in puzzle books and crocheting.
Survivors include two grandchildren, James and Jy'Den; a daughter, Kayla Sullivan; her parents, James and Joell Sullivan; two sisters, Melissa Sullivan and Shelia Ahrens; a nephew and five nieces; cousins, aunts, uncles and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by four miscarriages over the past years; grandparents; and a nephew.
Pallbearers will be Eric Van Rockel, Vern Sullivan Sr., Vern Sullivan Jr., Bobby McKnight, Wilber Otman and Victor Ahrens.
