28 October 2008SIOUX CITY -- Robert H. "Bob" Plum, 61, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Sartori Memorial Hospital emergency room.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Condolences may be sent online to www.richardsonfuneralservice.com.
Bob was born May 28, 1947, in Sioux City, the son of Bill and Fern E. (Splinter) Plum Jr. He graduated from Central High School in Sioux City. He then served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was united in marriage to Deborah A. Wall on May 22, 1976, in Sioux City. He worked for the Sioux City Wilbert Burial Vault Company until 1978, when he was appointed general manager of the Waterloo Wilbert Vault Company.
He is survived by his wife, of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Karri A. (Greg R.) Estuesta of Minneapolis and Sara B. (Tony R. Oldenburger) Plum of Cedar Falls; and two brothers, Richard (Cathy) Plum of Fayetteville, N.Y., and Roger (Diane) Plum of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister.
A memorial has been established to be directed through the family.
