Vera Elva Perrett, 96, of Clarksville, Ark., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in Clarksville.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Oakland Cemetery, Clarksville, with the Rev. Darrell Bridges officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville.

Mrs. Perrett was born March 21, 1912, in Sioux City, the daughter of the late Ira and Blanche (Yockey) Henshaw. She was the widow of William James Perrett.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Sioux City.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Nelson of Clarksville, Ark.; a son, Duey Perrett of Rock Rapids, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Debbie Casey of Lamar, Ark., Joan Brazil of Van Buren, Ark., Tom Nelson of London, Ark., Brett Perrett of Knoxville, Ark., Ronoe Neison of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Houston Perrett of Rock Rapids, Iowa, and Preston Perrett of Rock Rapids; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William James Perrett; and a son, Dr. James W. Perrett.
