16 November 2008SIOUX CITY -- Gladys V. Breeden, 94, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at Indian Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, 822 Jennings Street, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating.
Gladys was born July 31, 1914, in Vienna, Mo., the daughter of E.C. and Nettie (McDaniel) Hutchison.
She graduated from high school in Vienna. Gladys married Henry J. Breeden on July 2, 1943, in Brownwood, Texas. He preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1990, in Rolla, Mo. Gladys lived in Waynesville, Mo., and St. Joseph, Mo., from 1995 to 1999; Boulder, Colo., from 1999 to 2003; and moved to Sioux City in 2003.
She was a member of United Methodist Church in Vienna, Mo., and in Waynesville, Mo., and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her son, Randy and his wife, Mary Alice Breeden of Dakota Dunes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; parents; and two brothers.
