SIOUX CITY -- Dennis Ervin Moeller, 56, of Sioux City, died unexpectedly at work on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. On-line condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Dennis was born Dec. 29, 1951 in Sioux City, the son of Ervin and Lucile (Barnes) Moeller. After graduation from Central High School in 1970, Dennis attended Morningside College for two years. He later went to Western Iowa Tech to receive two degrees. He married Sharon Free on Dec. 6, 1975 in Sioux City.

Dennis was employed with AdCraft in South Sioux City for the past four years. Prior to that he was employed with Gateway for nine years and he was co-owner of ECI before that.

Dennis loved computers and animals. He enjoyed taking pictures and being out in nature and designing. Most of all, he loved family get-togethers.

Survivors include his wife Sharon of Sioux City; two sons, Ryan (Jessica) Moeller and Steven Moeller, all of Sioux City; three grandchildren, Jacob, Brandon and Ethan; a sister, Jana (Bruce) Volkert of Washta, Iowa; and a sister-in-law, Dottie (Dennis) Moeller Oleson of Akron, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ted Moeller.
