SOUTH SIOUX CITY -- Nettie P. Butrous, 98, of South Sioux City died Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at Regency Square Care Center.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home in Sioux City, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

Nettie was born Jan. 18, 1907, in Decatur, Neb., the daughter of John and Melissa (Bottom) Potts. She married Joseph Butrous on Feb. 13, 1926, in South Sioux City. He passed away in May 1978 in Sioux City.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Butrous of Sioux City and Rudolph Butrous of Omaha; a daughter and her husband, Betty Jo and John Cathro of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Octava Jenkins of Texas, and Melissia "Doll Babe" Nelson of Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Eugene; five brothers; and three sisters.
