Beulah Powell Cummings, 89, of Coon Rapids, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at Park River Estates Care Center in Coon Rapids.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel in Sioux City, with the Rev. Del Olivier of Augustana Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cummings was born Oct. 25, 1915, in Sioux City, the daughter of Alva E. and Lyda (Knepper) Perry. She had been a resident of Sioux City for the majority of her life. She had lived in Coon Rapids for the past 10 years.

She married Ronald G. Powell on Dec. 1, 1945, in South Sioux City. He preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1972, in Sioux City. She later married Irvin C. Cummings on Dec. 3, 1973, in Elk Point, S.D. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1994, in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Survivors include six children and spouses, Dawn R. and Robert C. Clark of Coon Rapids, Minn., Jo Ann and Martin L. Toben of Westfield, Iowa, Ronald G. and Patricia A. Powell Jr. of Champlin, Minn., Gayle J. and Ray Ryder of Newcastle, Colo., Carol L. and William L. Voss of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Linda L. Kosiba of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a brother and his wife, Bud and Marion Perry of Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Myrtle and LeRoy Webster of Chester, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Steve Sterling; and three sisters, Lydia Perry, Idabelle Eppling and Pauline Bullimore.

Pallbearers will be Scott Clark, Greg Clark, Jerry Kosiba, James Drop, Jeff Toben and Roman Powell.
