Linda Sue McClain Domke, 48, of Sioux City died Friday, March 21, 1997.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cornerstone Faith Center with the Rev. Larry Gordon and the Rev. Donna Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel.

Mrs. Domke was born February 15, 1949, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. She was raised and attended school in Lake Park, Iowa. After graduating from Morningside College in 1971 with a bachelor’s degree in music education, she began teaching in Marcus, Iowa. She taught in Marcus for four years before moving to southern California for a year. She returned to Sioux City and taught vocal music at West High School for 11 years. She also taught elementary and middle school music for nine years at Woodrow Wilson and East Middle Schools and Joy, Whittier, Grant, Longfellow and McKinley elementary schools.

She married Edward D. Domke in 1979. He died in 1994. She enjoyed gardening, horses and water sports.

Survivors include a son, Edward Allen; two daughters, Laura Ann and Lindsey Marie; her parents, Allan and Virginia McClain; two sisters and their husbands, Nancy and Roger Cook and Bonnie McClain and Phil Jennings; a brother-in-law and his wife, Carl and Beth Domke and her mother and father-in-law, Olive and Edward T. Domke and her nieces and nephews.
