1 October 2008Frances Bradstreet, 83, of Sioux City passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at a Sioux City hospital.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today in Logan Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Frances was born Nov. 27, 1924, in Sioux City, the daughter of John Harley and Florence Mae (Kellogg) McPherson.
She married William E. Bradstreet on Dec. 26, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church. He passed away Oct. 12, 1994. She retired from Sears fashion department after 30 years of service.
She is survived by her three beloved sons and their families, Ronald J. and Janice Bradstreet of Blue Springs, Mo., William D. and Janet Bradstreet of Sioux City and Gary Lee and Lynda Bradstreet of Madison, Wis.; a sister, Joyce Zenor of Sioux City; a brother and his wife, Bill and Marlene McPherson of Sioux City; and a brother-in-law, Jack Law of Marion, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty McPherson and Darlene Law; and three brothers, Richard, John and Charles McPherson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Siouxland.
