13 December 2005Tom Victor Clark, a former resident of Sioux City, passed away peacefully at his home in Downey, Calif. on Nov. 15, 2005, with family members by his side.
Tom was born June 24, 1918, in Kingsley, Iowa, and moved to California in 1960. He was actively involved in Kiwanis and was honored as a George E. Hixson Fellow for his work with the Kiwanis International Foundation Worldwide Service Project.
He is survived by his loving partner, Imogene Kimball; a sister, Rae Maree (Loy) Trowell; daughters, Karen May (Marvin) Klein and Julie Ann (Bob) St. Clair; a son, Scott Clark; and grandchildren, Meredith Welch, Melissa and Tommy St. Clair and Joey Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vera Clark; and his wife of 42 years, Marianna (Poe).
He will be remembered by family and friends in both Iowa and California.
