BANCROFT, Neb. -- Florence (Hall) Mohl, 88, of Elk Point, S.D., formerly of Bancroft, died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at a nursing home in Elk Point.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bancroft, with the Rev. Terry Daberkow officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, following lunch at the church. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft.

Florence was born at a farm near Elk Point on Jan. 18, 1917, to Harry and Emma (Mohr) Doolittle.

After graduating from high school and entering business college, she married Harry Hall. Harry died in 1981. She later married Fred Mohl of Bancroft. Fred died in 1998.

Florence is survived by four children, Thomas and Roberta Hall of Jefferson, S.D., Richard and Marianne Hall of Shipbottom, N.J., Janet and David Wambeke of Minneapolis, Minn. and Barbara Martin and her husband, Stephen Malsberger of Marana, Ariz.; two step children, Doug Mohl and Robert Mohl; 10 grandchildren; six step grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; a beloved niece, Annette Simonsen; as well as several in-laws and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Harry and Fred; and a brother, Francis Doolittle.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Prairie Estates Nursing Home and Hospice of Siouxland for their loving devotion and care.
