Russell J. Webb, 95, Sioux City, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005 at a local nursing home.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christy - Smith Morningside Chapel with Rev. Al Weiss officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Christy - Smith Morningside Chapel.

Russell J. "Russ" Webb was born Nov. 28, 1910, the son of William and Alice (Richards) Webb, in Nebraska. He was raised in Minnesota, with the family moving to Sioux City when his father passed away. He has lived here for many years. He was truck driver for Wonder Bread and Bakery. He was an army veteran of World War II, serving in France.

Survivors include a sister, Wava Farley, Sioux City; Wava's two daughters, Betty Farley-Wood and Jeannie Farley-Wamberg, both of Sioux City; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Willie, Woodrow, Gerald and Marion and two sisters, Emma and Bonnie.
