Kathleen Ann Bose, 57, of Brainerd, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at her residence.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter, Minn., with the Rev. Erika Nilsen officiating. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Camp Riley, Minn. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

Kathleen, the oldest of nine children, was born July 12, 1948, in Sioux City, the daughter of Wayne and Mary (Enright) Davis. She was a graduate of Heelan High School in Sioux City. She attended Wayne State College in Nebraska for two years.

She married Verdell Bose on May 9, 1970, in Sioux City. She completed nursing school in 1980 and was employed with St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City until 1985, when they moved to Buffalo, Minn. She was employed with North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, Minn until 1989, where she specialized in oncology nursing. She left nursing to help with the family business, moving to Cold Spring, Minn., in 1990 to expand their business. They moved to Brainerd in 1994.

She enjoyed her home, knitting, cross stitching, fishing, crafts and her much loved dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Verdell; her children, Robert (Melissa) Bose of Emerson, Neb., Lora (Gregory) Asfeld of Sartell, Minn., and Eric (Grace) Bose of Ramsey, Minn.; grandchildren, Sheena, Tiffani, Morgan, Timothy and Rachel; and her brothers and sisters, James, Ellen, Steven, Wayne, Mary, Michael, Colleen and Susan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and an aunt, Kathleen Enright.
